Wilson Vale recently became one of only three companies to appear on The Foodservice Growth Report for five consecutive years since the listing was introduced in 2013. Prepared by AlixPartners and EP Business in Hospitality, the Foodservice Growth Report 2017 shows the UK’s top 20 listing of the UK’s most dynamic and best performing companies within the UK foodservice sector.
Wilson Vale appeared in 12th place this year, up five places on 2016. The report shows that the caterer has achieved 18.3% compounded annual growth in gross profit over the past three years, while turnover has increased by 25.4% over the same period.
Andrew Wilson, co-founder of Wilson Vale, said: “We are quietly making our mark on what is an extremely competitive and acquisitive sector by retaining our core values and keeping our growth steady, organic and controlled.
“To appear on The Foodservice Growth Report for five consecutive years is a remarkable achievement, particularly when our growth has been entirely organic. It shows our unique positioning in our market and our determination to continue on the path of independence, by building on our core values and keeping our focus on fresh food, craft skills and strong relationships.”
The other two catering operators to manage the feat were WHS and Harbour & Jones.
