As it continues to grow its capital equipment business at pace, Brakes Catering Equipment has announced the addition of two national sales executives to its team.
Tim Calvert has previously worked as both development chef and regional capital specialist for two major equipment suppliers and so brings with him hands-on knowledge of just what it is that chefs are looking for when, as he neatly puts it, “it comes to anything with a plug on it”.
Richard Clark is also a chef, but more recently he has been responsible for driving sales of one of the UK’s most successful pieces of multi-function cooking equipment. With experience in all areas from fine dining to large scale banqueting, he says he will be “just as much at home talking to large group operators as I will be talking to independent customers”.
Brakes Catering Equipment’s channel head, Kevin Finlay, said: “Both Tim and Richard have a wealth of experience when it comes to capital equipment, and the needs of the modern chef, and can only enhance the quality of our proposition in this highly competitive sector.”
