HIT appoints principal for new Licensed Retail Academy

HIT Training has appointed Jeremy Scorer to set up its new Licensed Retail Academy. Building on the success of the HIT Chef Academy, which launched in 2015, it will consist of industry masterclasses to provide apprentices in the pub and licensed sector.

Scorer said: “I’m delighted to join the HIT team and am looking forward to getting the new Licensed Retail Academy up and running in the next few months. It’s my absolute passion to help aspiring individuals to develop multi-skilled careers in the hospitality sector and support them in the pursuit of their own aspirations.”

Jill Whittaker, managing director of HIT Training, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Jeremy to HIT. He is an expert in training and development within the sector and his knowledge of all areas within the licensed retail industry is second to none.”
