This issue leans heavily on two huge events that always dominate at this time of year: the FSM Awards… and the relatively trivial matter of Christmas. If you would like to read about what proved to be an emotional eighth awards, turn to page 16 where you can find 28 pages detailing who all the worthy winners and nominees were.
With all this extra content, the magazine is as packed as a toddler’s stocking, but we’ve still managed to squeeze in some Christmas cheer where possible. On page 10 we bring you our annual yuletide spin on Desert island dishes, while on page 60 we have a festive-themed Hot on the high street. This features an interview with Street Feast, who have co-organised London’s Winterville celebration that is currently running on Clapham Common.
If you have the chance to pop along to the latter I recommend it, as it presents everything that tastes good (in both food and fluid formats) about the season. If you can’t get there, I’m sure you’ll manage to compensate in your own special way. Regardless, I would just like to wish you a happy Christmas from all of us here at H2O Publishing and we look forward to seeing you in the new year!
