As ever, our December issue focuses on two soirees that always home into view around about now: the FSM Awards, plus the comparatively small matter of Christmas. Our annual event was as slick and swanky as you would expect at the ninth time of trying and you can find 28 pages of coverage, detailing all of the worthy winners and nominees, on page 16.
A big tradition at this time of year, of course, is our annual roundtable event, which we hold annually on the day of the Awards. Big thanks to sponsors Eurilait and all the caterers present for their input. You can read their insights on page 44.
With all these extra goodies to fit in, the mag is as full as your average Bethlehem B&B on Christmas Eve, though we have still managed to fit in some festive cheer too. Turn to page 11 for our annual Desert island Christmas piece where we find out how some of our friends in the contract catering industry will be enjoying themselves.
I’m sure you all have your own unique and special ways to celebrate the occasion too; though please do spare a thought for me as I’m spending The Big Day with the in-laws (and I have to go all the way to New Zealand to do it too – your commiserations are appreciated).
