The StrEAT Food Awards have been rescheduled for 10th November. Originally slated to be held on 19th March but postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, they will be held once again at Islington Metal Works in London.
The fourth annual event will see the following 16 chefs compete in a series of street food challenges:

Ben Gibson – Genuine Dining Company
Adam Lenherr – ISS
Antony Lones – Radish
Stuart Abram – Restaurant Associates
Adam Collison – Sodexo
Victor Chan – Thomas Franks
Lee Gardner – Vacherin
The finalists will be tasked with recreating their signature street food dishes for our panel of expert judges, with the winner taking home the overall title and £1,000 in prize money. They will also compete in a Technical round using products supplied on the day, and a vegetarian Quorn round.
Andrew Taylor of Restaurant Associates, who won the big prize of Street Food Dish of the Year in 2019, said: “It was a mixture of emotions, from complete shock to being overjoyed, ecstatic and immensely proud. It’s a great achievement to have won this award, especially because it was my first time competing.
“I loved the event and would highly recommend to anyone who is thinking about competing for the first time to go ahead and do it – you won’t regret it!”
