Andrew Taylor of Restaurant Associates, who won the big prize of Street Food Dish of the Year in 2019, said: “It was a mixture of emotions, from complete shock to being overjoyed, ecstatic and immensely proud. It’s a great achievement to have won this award, especially because it was my first time competing.

“I loved the event and would highly recommend to anyone who is thinking about competing for the first time to go ahead and do it – you won’t regret it!”
